Engagement marks the beginning of an eternal love story.
The first chapter of that love story begins with a celebration!
You may have been dreaming about the day you will walk down the aisle to your Prince Charming since you were dancing around the house in your mom’s high heels. Wrapped around the arm of the person who gave you the world, in your beautiful white dress, surrounded by the scent of your fresh cut flowers just waiting for your grand entrance into your dream venue, as the doors swing open you see the smiles on all the faces of your family and friends. You fight back tears as you walk down the aisle to the love of your life, his eyes filled with tears. The moment is picture perfect! The setting should be picture perfect too!
Thats where we come in!
We built Sparrow Lane from ground up in 2020 and have been a part of over 450 weddings so far! Two of which have been our own daughters’ weddings! ps, I still tear up at each and every wedding!
Both of our beautiful daughters have beautiful daughters of their own and now a sweet baby boy has been added to the mix, so Jer and I are learning our new role as grandparents and loving every minute of it! Those babies have the cutest little uncle anyone could ask for! You might see our little guy Cade running around the venue. He will likely be barefoot, and dirty and loving life! (Unless I’ve asked him to help move chairs, then forget that loving life part! LOL)
If we aren’t working on a project around the venue we are likely working on a project around the farm. My love for DIY, decorating and entertaining runs deep, Jer’s does not! But over the years we have come up with a good system of me coming up with a great idea, and him bringing it to life! “Hey Honey, I have an idea” is his least favorite sentence. Ha! We make a pretty good team!
In my downtime I love spending as much time with my family as possible, cheering Cade on in rodeo and baseball, snuggling those babies, watching old MTV reality shows, listening to true crime podcasts, and going way overboard with holiday activities and decorations, (October brides, your guests will get a little Halloween bonus when they go past our house!) and of course watching Harry Potter pretty much anytime it rains!
Building Sparrow Lane has been a dream of mine for several years. I thought through every detail over and over for a few years before we ever put anything into action. Everything from the placement of the buildings relevant to the sunset, to the location of each electrical outlet went through a careful thought process. I really tried make sure the simple elegance of the venue could accommodate any need, and every style wedding. I hope you find that to be true!
We have had the honor of receiving 417’s Best Wedding Reception location & Best Wedding Ceremony Location for 2020, 2021 & 2022!
We have been featured in Magazines and on Multiple blogs!
And we are blessed beyond measure for all of it!!
